Jamming in Jamaica

Jamaica is a wonderfully laid-back island in the Greater Antilles, surrounded by the Caribbean Sea. Its neighbours are Cuba, Hispaniola, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, and it was a Spanish, English and British colony until independence in the 1960s. Arawakan-speaking locals named the island Xaymaca, meaning “Land of Springs”.
